Phani K. Dantuluri, M.D. shares the passion, excellence, and commitment to the best patient care that exemplifies the physicians of the Philadelphia Hand Center. As a Board Certified Orthopaedic Surgeon with additional Sub-Specialty training in surgery of the hand and upper extremity, Dr. Dantuluri specializes in diagnosing and rendering treatment for conditions, injuries and diseases relative to the shoulder, elbow, wrist and hand.
Born in Chicago, Illinois, Dr. Dantuluri received his undergraduate degree from Brown University where he was a National Merit Scholar and multi-sport varsity athlete before earning his M.D. at the Brown University School of Medicine. After completing his orthopaedic surgery residency at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine in New York, Dr. Dantuluri was honored to be selected for further subspecialty training at the Harvard Combined Orthopedic Surgery Program under the tutelage of Dr. Jesse Jupiter, a world renowned specialist in trauma and surgery of the upper extremity.
Dr. Dantuluri has assisted in the care of numerous professional teams including the Boston Bruins, the ATP tour, and the Super Bowl Champion New England Patriots. An avid educator and researcher, he has published numerous abstracts, articles, and book chapters on surgery of the shoulder and upper extremity. His work has been presented nationally as well as internationally and he remains committed to the advancement of clinical treatment and surgery of the upper extremity.
